Players from the Super Eagles who have arrived at the AFCON 2023 camp

With a total of 17 players, the Super Eagles camp for the 2023 AFCON—which will take place in Cote d’Ivoire—has formally begun in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

According to Naija News, this information was verified in a post made on Wednesday through the Super Eagles’ official X handle.

At the moment, Victor Boniface, Alex Iwobi, and Ahmed Musa are the players at the camp. The camp also includes Joe Aribo, Frank Onyeka, Calvin Bassey, Ademola Lookman, Leke Ojo, Ola Aina, Semi Ajayi, Moses Simon, Kenneth Omeruo, and Joe Aribo.

In addition, Bright Osayi Samuel, Raphael Onyedika, Zaidu Sanusi, Bruno Onyemaechi, and Chidozie Awaziem have all reported to the camp.

The Super Eagles will hold their first practice this evening. Osimhen and Chukwueze are among the players who are expected to arrive in the coming days.

On Sunday, January 14, Nigeria will play their opening game against Equatorial Guinea.
