, the coach, believes that wide receiver Jameson Williams and linebacker James Houston won’t be playing for the Detroit Lions on Sunday when they play the Minnesota Vikings. Following his absences on Wednesday and Thursday, the third-year coach of the Lions stated that it was “probably unlikely” that Williams would practice on Friday.

Regarding Houston, the rookie linebacker is still in the process of healing from an ankle injury that has kept him out of action since Week 2. Earlier in the week, Campbell stated that it was unlikely that Houston would play in Sunday’s game, and that statement has not altered

“I think it hasn’t,” Campbell clarified. “He’s done more this week than he did last week, but he’s still a ways out.” Houston would have to make his comeback in the opening round of the playoffs because it is unlikely that he will do it during the regular season. When he returns, Houston will be under more pressure because he won’t be able to adjust in games during the regular season.Alabama star Jameson Williams suffers torn ACL in CFP National Championship loss to Georgia, per report - CBSSports.com

You’re rusty, and it takes some time to adjust because something will never feel the same as it did previously. Thus, a large portion of that will be him spending time on the task, jogging and walking, and seeing how far he can get..DNAlabama star Jameson Williams suffers torn ACL in CFP National Championship loss to Georgia, per report - CBSSports.com
