Celtic’s official account tweeted that Yosuke Ideguchi has joined J.League champions Vissel Kobe.
This is a permanent transfer.
Ideguchi signed for Celtic in early 2022, arriving at the same time as Reo Hatate and Daizen Maeda.
The pair became important parts of the team, but the 27-year-old was unable to establish himself at Parkhead, making just a handful of appearances for the Hoops.

He was one of the best players in Japan’s top league last season.
Many people expected Ideguchi to make a full return to Avispa Fukuoka.
Instead, he moved to last season’s J League champions Vissel Kobe.
Many people were open to the idea of giving Ideguchi another chance at Celtic after his impressive performance in Japan.
However, it seems like they decided this was the right time to part ways.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Ideguchi.
