BBB News: JJ McCarthy declares for NFL Draft.

What a ride it’s been for quarterback JJ McCarthy.
Well, it’s the end of an era.
Michigan quarterback JJ McCarthy announced he will forgo his final year of eligibility and enter the 2024 NFL Draft.
McCarthy will go down as the greatest quarterback in Michigan football history.
Jim Harbaugh said that, and the same can be said about numbers.
The Chicago-area junior will end his 27-1 career as a starter with a 3-0 win over Ohio State.
He helped the University of Michigan win back-to-back Big Ten titles and clearly took it one step further this year by winning the national title.
As a junior, McCarthy completed 72.
3 percent of his passes.
As a starter as a sophomore and junior, McCarthy threw 44 touchdowns and only nine interceptions.
He also scored eight rushing touchdowns, even though he wasn’t asked to run the ball often.
McCarthy has elite arm strength and is near elite overall as an athlete.
Frankly, he can do anything on the soccer field.
Watch the clip below.
There aren’t many QBs at any level who played like he did against Alabama in the Rose Bowl.
ESPN NFL Draft Analyst Mel Kiper puts McCarthy at No.
5 on 2024 draft boards, behind USC’s Caleb Williams, North Carolina’s Drake Maye, LSU’s Jayden Daniels and Washington’s Michael Penix Jr.
He is considered the second quarterback.
I haven’t covered these other quarterbacks in detail, but in a combination of on-field skills, off-the-field maturity, leadership skills, winning pedigree, and overall good character, J.J.
I guarantee you there is no better player than McCarthy.
.
No matter who designs it, you will be happy forever.
