Owen Beck’s loan to Celtic is effective if there is a buyout option.

Owen Beck, a left back for Liverpool, was mentioned by The Celtic Star as a possible Celtic addition for this transfer window at the beginning of September. Celtic was strongly linked to him yesterday!

We warned you to keep an eye out for Dundee’s left defender, Beck, before their meeting at Celtic Park, and during the following Boxing Day fixture at Dens Park, he looked the part.

Prior to the break, the Welshman was on loan at Dundee, but because of an injury issue, Klopp brought him back.Andy Roberson and backup Konstantinos Tsimikas’ impending comeback has helped Liverpool’s situation in that area slightly.

Beck is a highly respected talent who we witnessed up close and personal during his time at Dundee. He seemed appropriate, and it was evident that he is a good player. It’s okay that a loan arrangement involving the left back is being discussed, but only if any suggested agreements include a buyout clause.

It makes no sense to develop players for other teams; that is not our place. Mitchel Frame is a fantastic young possibility for the team, and I would much rather spend our time helping him grow than helping another player. If Owen Beck can be added permanently in the summer, that would be an amazing addition.
