Supporters of Bristol City and Leeds United will honor Mason Rist and Max Dixon together.

Football fans will lead a two-minute applause on Friday night at Ashton Gate in memory of teenagers Mason Rist and Max Dixon who were stabbed to death on Saturday night. The applause will take place between the 15th and 17th minutes of the Championship clash between Bristol City and Leeds United.

Mason, 15, and Max, 16, were reportedly attacked by a group of people in Knowle West on Saturday night, January 27. Police officers and members of the public went to their aid, but sadly the teenagers died of their injuries in hospital .Three people have now been charged with their murder. Antony Snook, 44 and of Hartcliffe, was previously charged with two counts of murder and appeared at magistrates court today. He was remanded into custody and a further hearing will take place at Bristol Crown Court tomorrow (February 2).

Two men have also been charged with two counts each of assisting an offender. Bailey Westcott, 22 and of Bishopsworth, and Jamie Ogbourne, 26 and of Hartcliffe in Bristol, will appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.

When Bristol City host Leeds United on Friday night, there will be a fan-led applause from the 15th to the 17th minute in memory of the two boys. The match is live on Sky Sports Football.

A statement from the Robins said: “Everyone at Bristol City and across the Bristol Sport Group was extremely saddened to hear about the tragic deaths of teenagers Mason Rist and Max Dixon. There will be a fan-led applause from the 15th to the 17th minute of Friday’s game against Leeds United in memory of two young lives so needlessly lost.

“We send our deepest condolences to Mason and Max’s families and friends, and our thoughts are with everybody in our community affected by this tragedy.
