BREAKING: Kliff Kingsbury Withdraws From Las Vegas Raiders OC Position.

The Las Vegas Raiders have a busy week ahead. Allegiant Stadium is getting set to host Super Bowl LVIII. On top of this, the Raiders front office looks like it will be busy trying to fill the offensive coordinator position.

Kliff Kingsbury Withdraws From OC Consideration.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Kliff Kingsbury is withdrawing from consideration to be the Las Vegas Raiders offensive coordinator. This was said by Kingsbury’s agent and comes after a previous report speculating that Kingsbury was going to be hired. It is a stunning development to say the least.

Kliff Kingsbury is currently the quarterbacks coach for the USC Trojans. He was previously the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals for four seasons. Now, we will have to wait for further updates as to whether Kingsbury will stay at USC or look for another position.

Las Vegas Raiders Moving Forward.

With this report going public, it appears the Raiders are still in the market for an offensive coordinator. There was one interesting name reported to be in the mix for this position. That name is Chip Kelly.

Previous reports indicated that Kelly had multiple interviews with the Raiders. At first, the conclusion was the Raiders chose Kingsbury over Kelly. Now, it appears that Kelly is back in the mix for the position while currently serving as the head coach of the UCLA Bruins.
