Gonzalo Montiel, a defender for Nottingham Forest, will be sidelined for Saturday’s Premier League match against Newcastle United.
In the waning moments of the Reds’ FA Cup replay victory over Bristol City on Wednesday, the Argentine was forced off. He has been ruled out of the game against the Magpies and is scheduled to get a scan this evening on a hamstring issue.
Forest will assess Morgan Gibbs-White late in the game following his strenuous performance in the midweek fourth round match.
