GOOD NEWS:Frank McAvennie discusses intuition over…

It is inevitable that James Forrest will finish his career with Celtic.

Frank McAvennie urges Celtic to dump 10 players as one star told 'enough is enough' - Football Scotland

Frank McAvennie, a former striker for the Hoops, feels like way.

The former Scotland international is a single member of the team. Since making his first team breakthrough in 2010, he has been employed at Parkhead for his entire career. In his 14 years as a professional, he has amassed 22 trophies.

Under Brendan Rodgers and Ange Postecoglou, Forrest, 32, has had difficulty getting into the starting lineup in the last two seasons.

He hasn’t played since before Christmas and was rumored to be heading to Cardiff City in the Championship on deadline day.

With the attacker hired at Celtic Park, that never happened until the summer of 2025.

Despite the fact that his lack of playing time would imply that a split may be imminent this summer, Macca is skeptical.

“I don’t think Forrest would want to leave Celtic,” he said to Football Insider. I believe he has settled in since he has been at Celtic for a considerable amount of time and is paid well. Since this is his testimonial year and he is financially secure, I don’t see him leaving.

“He’s the kind of player you want at your disposal, which is crucial for Brendan, and he can still perform a job for Celtic coming on from the bench. Although you must let go of players, I believe you already know what you get with James. I believe Celtic will be where he ends his career.

“Everyone would approve if he were to depart. Although I don’t always agree with his style of play, he has been a great asset to the team.”
