Apart from D.J. Moore, this squad doesn’t really have a reliable player right now in Darnell Mooney, a free agent who may not come back.

Tee Higgins, a wide receiver with the Cincinnati Bengals, is one of the most well-known free agents this offseason. But according to a recent source, the Bengals want to employ their star wideout with the franchise tag.

The Bears may choose to sign one of these three players in free agency if Higgins is not available.

The Arizona Cardinals gave up a first-round choice to get Marquise Brown, treating him like a genuine wide receiver. The Bears ought to be quite interested in Brown in free agency, provided that he does not want a salary commensurate with that of a top wide receiver.

In the last two seasons, Brown has developed into a more capable wide receiver, and I believe he would succeed in that capacity with the Bears. Encouraging Brown instead of retaining Darnell Mooney would provide the Bears with a slight improvement and a home run type at the position.

Although Brown would be a strong candidate to be the team’s WR2 behind D.J. Moore, Chicago would still lack the size in the wide receiver group. Brown has played for the Cardinals for two years, missing eight games, and has seven touchdowns and little under 1,300 receiving yards.

When in good health, Brown is an incredible athlete. He has a speed that rivals that of the greatest. Additionally, Moore would relieve him of some of the strain, giving him lots of chances to create plays.
