While the Knicks were short-handed once again, they have still yet to be able to get over the hump against arguably the best team in the Eastern Conference.For the Celtics, it was a fairly well-balanced attack, as all of their starters were in double figures, with Jalen Brown leading the way with 30 points. The Knicks once again struggled to stop Kristaps Porzingis, as their former big man dropped 22 on them.
The Knicks were missing Julius Randle and OG Anunoby in this game, as they lacked a second star to go along with Jalen Brunson. Anunoby’s defense could have been used against the skilled Celtics stars, whose size made a difference.
