GOOD NEWS: Green Bay Packers Has Finally Signed A…

This off-season, the Green Bay Packers have an unparalleled chance. It so happens that safety will be one of the teams’ most pressing issues in 2024. There has never been a safer free agent class

as wealthy as the one in 2024.

But the Packers may be able to put one newly released safety at the top of their priority list right away.

The NFL’s 2024 free agent class is flooded with safety prospects.

Pro Bowl safety Justin Simmons has been released by the Denver Broncos, according Ian Rapoport of NFL Network Insider. The team later announced the change.

The Broncos released a statement saying, “Justin Simmons’ impact as a Denver Bronco extends far beyond his exceptional play during eight seasons with our organization.

For as long as he plays, Justin will always be a Bronco, and we are grateful for the amazing way he represents our team both on and off the field. We send our best wishes for the future to Justin, his wife Taryn, and their kids, Laney, Shae, and Kyler.

For the previous few years, Simmons has been playing well on a regular basis. He has been selected for the Pro Bowl or All-Pro team each season since 2019 despite recording 23 interceptions, 51 passes defensed, and five forced fumbles.

The former third-round selection is more than just a ballhawk, though. His 297 solo tackles since the start of 2019 clearly show that he is a highly dependable last line of defense. With the tackling issues the Packers had last season, particularly during the playoffs, Simmons’ value to the team should go through the roof.

With the most recent safety advancements available on the open market, Green Bay has an excellent opportunity to remedy this issue. The newest addition to the group of well-known players dismissed recently is Simmons, the Safety who was released with Jamal Adams, Jordan Poyer, and Quandre Diggs. Kyle Dugger and Xavier McKinney are two more free agents.

It’s difficult to find anyone who knows anything about Justin Simmons right now, despite all those huge names in free agency.
