DONE DEAL: Joe Mazzulla explained how the Celtics have succeeded without important players…

For the most part of this season, the Boston Celtics have easily defeated the opposition.

Ultimately, the NBA All-Star quality players on the Celtics’ roster are a testament to their brilliance.

Although Jayson Tatum is unquestionably the team’s top player, others like Derrick White, Jrue Holiday, Jaylen Brown, and Kristaps Porzingis are just as vital to the group.

In addition, Al Horford is a seasoned veteran who the Celtics can rely on to lead the locker room.

But the Celtics’ most recent game against the Utah Jazz saw them play without three important players.

Even with fewer players, the Celtics defeated the Jazz 123–107 with ease.

Through Duane Rankin, head coach Joe Mazzulla provided an explanation of how the Celtics have succeeded without important players like Brown, Porzingis, and Horford.

“Create a culture and environment in our locker room where guys are prepared to play regardless of who is in,” Mazzulla stated.

“Last couple of games, everybody is stepping up.”

According to Mazzulla, the Celtics have created a great atmosphere in the locker room.

Every player on the roster has been trained by it to always be prepared when their number is called.

It is undoubtedly easier for a head coach to manage a team when there are several players that can fill in for the regular stars when they are not there.

Regarding the Celtics vs. Jazz game, six players scored in double figures for the side.

Tatum, who played 34 minutes and finished with 38 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists, was undoubtedly the highlight of the game.

The Celtics are still the top seed in the Eastern Conference after the thrilling victory.
