Stephen Curry delivered in crunch time throughout the 2023-24 season, and he was rewarded accordingly Thursday.

Curry was named the NBA’s 2023-24 Clutch Player of the Year, defeating fellow finalists DeMar DeRozan of the Chicago Bulls and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thurday

Curry, DeRozan and Gilgeous-Alexander were named the finalists on Sunday on TNT’s NBA Tip-Off during the opening weekend of the NBA playoffs, which was notable timing since only Gilgeous-Alexander was clutch enough to make the playoffs from the trio.

He led the Oklahoma City Thunder to the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference at 57-25 by averaging 30.1 points, 6.2 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game while shooting 53.5 percent from the floor and 35.3 percent from deep.
