BREAKING: The Green Bay Packers Hand Out $100,000 Guaranteed To 6’4″ Monster

The Green Bay Packers’ work isn’t done when the draft concludes.  While they seem to have had an extremely successful draft, many un-drafted free agents go on to have stellar careers.

One 2024 un-drafted free agent received a hefty payday when he signed with the Packers

According to reporter Tom Silverstein:

Packers are signing South Florida OT Donovan Jennings to an UDFA contract. He’s receiving a $10K SB and $100,000 guaranteed.

The Offensive Line Is A Focus This Off-Season For The Packers

Obviously, letting OT David Bakhtiari go this off-season was a major move.  The Packers took three offensive lineman in the 2024 NFL Draft, highlighted by Jordan Morgan in the first round.

When you are on the brink of signing your next franchise quarterback to a record breaking deal, fortifying the offensive line becomes a top priority.

Jennings’ draft profile suggests he has some work to do, but there is certainly optimism:

Jennings is a college tackle with good size but below-average length and he might need to prove he can bump inside to guard. Jennings will turn 25 years old in November and has missed games in each of the past two seasons due to injury. He plays with excellent composure and possesses nimble feet in pass protection.

His strong hands help him sustain both run and pass blocks. He’s a decent athlete with the flexion to unlock his lower body but his overall anchor falls below average when challenged by power rushers. Jennings might offer dual-position flexibility as a late-round backup.
