KYLE LARSON HAS BEING SUSPENDED STILL FOLDER NOTICES DUE TO…

According to the Associated Press, NASCAR has verified that Hendrick Motorsports has requested a waiver for Kyle Larson. Larson is aiming to stay in the NASCAR playoffs despite missing the start of Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600.

He had to fly into Charlotte but arrived late after competing in the Indianapolis 500, which was also delayed due to weather.

Fryer also reported that there is currently no schedule for making a decision.

Update: #NASCAR confirms it has received a request for a waiver for Larson from Hendrick Motorsports and says there is no schedule for when decision will be made.” Fryer communicated via X.

Justin Allgaier began driving Larson’s No. 5 vehicle in the Coca-Cola 600. Larson felt he arrived to the circuit in time to race. However, just as the switch was being flipped, the red flag appeared and coverings began to be placed on cars.

The Coca-Cola 600 was later canceled, resulting in Larson missing the race and being ineligible for the playoffs. Thus, Hendrick Motorsports requested the waiver.

Kyle Larson thinks on his Indianapolis 500 experience.

Kyle Larson loved his time preparing for the Indy 500 and plans to compete again in the near future. The NASCAR star appeared at the Indy 500 Victory Celebration this week and was asked about his Indy 500 experience in the previous month.

“The experience over these past couple of weeks is something like I’ve never experienced before,” Larson stated. “I’ve had to run a number of big races, usually in the States, but the atmosphere over the last two weeks, from the first day on track on Tuesday to the large audience waiting through the rain delay yesterday, was incredible.

The fan support was fantastic to me. I felt like a favorite from day one. It meant a lot to me and my family to have them on board for the entire two weeks, and having Rick Hendrick visit yesterday was incredible. I just wish the whole plan had turned out better.”

Larson planned to compete both the Indy 500 and the Coca-Cola 600 on the same day. However, due to weather delays in both races, Larson was only able to compete in the Indy 500, and he will have to wait another year to make racing history.
