Stephen Curry drained five 3-pointers on his way to 28 points as the Golden State Warriors extended their perfect home record with a 118–107 win over the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night in San Francisco.
Moses Moody sparked the Warriors’ bench with 24 points, while Brandin Podziemski added 13 and Buddy Hield 12, helping Golden State snap a two-game skid despite resting Al Horford and sitting Jimmy Butler III for the second half of the back-to-back opener.
The Warriors surged ahead by as many as 25 points in the first half, but the Suns fought back. Phoenix trimmed the deficit to 110–101 with just over five minutes left behind 3-pointers from Ryan Dunn and Grayson Allen. Devin Booker, who led all scorers with 38 points, brought the Suns within 113–105 before Curry sealed the win with three straight free throws, including one after a technical foul on the Suns’ bench.
Golden State outshot Phoenix from deep, hitting 19 of 42 attempts (45.2%), while the Suns managed 12 of 33 (36.4%). Moody matched Curry’s five triples, Quinten Post hit four, and Hield added three as the Warriors’ bench outscored Phoenix’s reserves 63–19.
Draymond Green contributed eight assists and six rebounds for the Warriors. Mark Williams posted the game’s only double-double with 16 points and 16 rebounds for the Suns, while Allen added 16 points and five assists.
The Warriors improved to 4–0 at home, showing resilience and depth in their bounce-back victory.
