🚨 HE MUST BE ON DRUGS 🚨

> “He ran for 90 minutes non-stop, that kind of performance is inhuman.”
“He’s made it a habit, just walking through defenders.”
“I hope he’s not on anything…”

Gary Neville was left utterly stunned after West Ham’s dominant display, and his reaction to one Hammers star stole the spotlight almost as much as the performance itself.

The former Manchester United defender could hardly believe what he was watching as Mateus Fernandes put on a tireless, jaw-dropping show in midfield during West Ham’s 3–1 win. From the first whistle to the last, Fernandes was everywhere — pressing, driving forward, winning duels and gliding past defenders with ease.

Neville, speaking during his post-match analysis, repeatedly questioned how the midfielder managed to sustain such intensity for the full 90 minutes.

🗣️ “That level of energy is ridiculous. He didn’t stop running, not even for a second. You almost start asking questions because it doesn’t look human,” Neville said, half-joking but clearly amazed.

The pundit even suggested, tongue-in-cheek, that the PFA would need to subject him to a doping test, such was the sheer dominance and stamina on display.

Fernandes capped off his performance with a stunning long-range goal, underlining a night where everything he touched seemed to turn to gold. Sunderland simply couldn’t live with him, as he dictated the tempo and bullied the midfield all evening.

For West Ham fans, it was the kind of performance that sparks belief. For Gary Neville, it was one that left him shaking his head in disbelief.

One thing is certain — the Premier League has been put on notice.
