Gianni Infantino has DROPPED A NUCLEAR BOMB on England and all 55 UEFA nations after their World Cup boycott threat

UEFA and its 55 member associations held an emergency virtual meeting and unanimously voted to boycott the World Cup if FIFA President Gianni Infantino pushes ahead with his controversial private investment plan.
The boycott would apply to the 2027 Women’s World Cup in Brazil, the 2029 Club World Cup, the 2030 Men’s World Cup in Spain, Portugal and Morocco, and all FIFA youth tournaments.

UEFA’s 470-word statement was scathing. “We unanimously and unequivocally reject FIFA’s proposal to transfer ownership interests in the World Cup and other FIFA competitions to private investors,” it read.

“No UEFA national teams will participate in any FIFA competition for so long as these proposals remain alive.”
The FA have already made their position clear. In a strongly worded statement, they said they were “deeply concerned” about FIFA’s proposals and slammed the “lack of process and governance.”
Former FA chairman David Bernstein said the plan “stinks” and England must “have the guts” to boycott.
What the fans don’t know is that Infantino has gone even further. Sources close to FIFA have revealed that the governing body are also planning to BAN ENGLAND FROM HOSTING ANY FUTURE TOURNAMENTS for 20 years. The FA’s hope of hosting a future World Cup is now DEAD.

If UEFA follows through on the boycott, the 2030 World Cup would be left without its biggest draws. Six of the top 10 ranked teams in men’s and women’s football are from Europe, and six of the eight quarter-finalists at the 2026 World Cup came from UEFA nations.
Potential investors will be deterred by the absence of European teams. The tournament would be “invalid” without England, France, Spain, Germany, and Italy.
Infantino has given all 211 member associations until September 19 to ratify his plan.
