With the 24-year-old forward in Glasgow, the announcement of his arrival felt like only a matter of time.

Chris Jack of the Rangers Review reported that Driouech failed his medical at Ibrox, which eventually led the Gers to call the deal off.
There had been speculation that the Moroccan winger was carrying a slight knock after missing PSV’s opening league game of the new season.
The reliable Scottish journalist claimed that the Light Blues and the forward had agreed personal terms.
However, Eindhovens Dagblad reporter Rik Elfrink, who has been closely covering the saga, suggested that the Glaswegian outfit and Driouech couldn’t reach an agreement, and the deal fell through.
The Govan side were ready to pay around ÂŁ7million to get a deal over the line for the attacker, but they will now move on to other targets.
