HE’S COMING HOME RANGERS IN SECRET TALKS FOR FOR ANOTHER EMOTIONAL IBROX REUNION

Rangers have launched a sensational move to re-sign a former Ibrox favourite, with the club now firmly focused on bringing the winger back to Glasgow. The latest development has placed a possible return firmly on the radar.

 

The Czechia star lit up Ibrox during his loan spell under Barry Ferguson, producing performances that made his time in Glasgow a memorable one. He is now currently at Besiktas, where Rangers are looking to get a deal done.

 

Talk has refused to go away across the summer regarding a possible return to Glasgow. However, despite the continued discussion surrounding the situation, nothing concrete had emerged until now.

Now, Andrew Cavenagh and Co. are firmly on the offensive to get a deal done in Istanbul. The focus is on securing an agreement and bringing the player back to Ibrox.

 

Vaclav Cerny is the player at the centre of the latest Rangers move, with the Czechia star now being targeted for a sensational return to the club. An approach has been made, with his permanent return to Ibrox firmly on the cards.

 

Derek McInnes has been crying out for new wingers at Ibrox, and he hasn’t been given the answers yet. The need for additions in those positions remains clear as Rangers continue their work during the window.

It’s said that Besiktas are holding firm on their £8m valuation, which could be problematic as things stand. Rangers would therefore have to consider that figure as they look to determine whether a deal can be completed.

 

Cerny is also on more than £2million annually in Turkiye, which equates to around £40,000-a-week. His current earnings would therefore be another part of the situation Rangers would have to address if the move is to happen.

 

The most important part, though, is that the winger would welcome a return to Ibrox permanently with open arms. However, lower wages are needed, meaning that part of the deal would also have to be worked out.

 

 

It has been yet another hectic summer in Govan, with Rangers continuing to work on their plans throughout the window. The club has been involved in several moves as it looks to strengthen its squad.

 

Cavenagh and the 49ers have never shied away from spending big money, and that has continued throughout the window. Their approach has remained clear as Rangers continue to pursue the players they want.

Driouech’s move from PSV was worth a similar figure too, until his medical saw that deal collapse at the final stage. That situation ultimately prevented the move from being completed despite the agreement being worth a similar amount.

 

Either way, the money is there. Rangers have already demonstrated their willingness to commit significant sums during the window, and the figures involved in their recent attempts underline that position.

 

It does smell slightly of desperation, but already being five points behind Celtic, the Bears sort of are right now. The current situation adds another layer to the club’s efforts as it looks to strengthen its options.
