Leeds United may now have to accept taking a financial hit on Largie Ramazani, with Norwich City reportedly showing interest in the winger ahead of the summer transfer window.
Ramazani spent the 2025/26 campaign on loan at Valencia, featuring 23 times across all competitions for the La Liga side. The 25-year-old is expected to return to Elland Road this summer, although his long-term future in West Yorkshire remains uncertain.
Leeds are believed to have paid around £10million to sign Ramazani from Almeria in 2024, but it now looks increasingly unlikely they will recover that full amount.
Fresh reports suggest Norwich are considering a move for the former Belgium Under-21 international, especially with a permanent switch to Valencia appearing unlikely.
A transfer to the Championship could offer Ramazani the opportunity to revive his career and regain consistent form. However, Norwich may struggle to meet Leeds’ current valuation.
The Whites are thought to have lowered their asking price to roughly £8.6m — a figure that would still represent a manageable loss considering Ramazani contributed during Leeds’ promotion-winning season.
He registered six goals and two assists as Leeds secured a return to the Premier League, before producing a similar return in Spain with six goals and one assist in 27 appearances for Valencia, despite starting only 11 matches.
Even so, Daniel Farke does not appear fully convinced by the attacker and is likely to prioritise bringing in a higher-quality option in that position this summer.
Ramazani’s situation is helped somewhat by the fact he still has two years remaining on his current contract, meaning Leeds are not under immediate pressure to sell.
But with chairman Paraag Marathe already warning supporters to keep realistic expectations regarding transfers, player sales could become crucial to funding new arrivals.
If Leeds can secure a respectable fee for Ramazani, it would give Farke additional resources to strengthen the squad ahead of another demanding Premier League campaign.
