Will Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James do a farewell tour before retirement.
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James addressed his eventual retirement during his NBA All-Star media availability, saying he is 50/50 on whether or not he will do a farewell tour during his final season.
During a recent episode of Gil’s Arena, former NBA star and Memphis Grizzlies guard Gilbert Arenas reacted to these comments from James, saying he expects the Lakers star to retire without a farewell tour.Arenas has a different opinion than most, with the expectation among most fans and media members being that James will have some sort of retirement tour.
“The way he’s been treated as a superstar, I think he already has his mind made up,” Arenas said.”That when it’s at the end of the season, he’s gonna wait until that dead period in the summer and just say he’s not coming back next year. I don’t see him giving himself a farewell tour knowing that people didn’t respect him when he played the game”
