Anunoby sets Knicks’ final win record…
The New York Knicks looked like a whole new team since the trade for the former Toronto Raptor, but it took him four games to make his mark on the team’s history: in his first four games as a Knick.
, Anunoby brought a plus-minus of plus-85, which is a high score for anyone in their first four games in the blue and orange.
This is also the second-highest total in NBA history behind Quentin Richards (plus-91).
Although Anunoby only averaged 12 points per game with the Knicks, his defensive performance was highly praised.
After Saturday’s 121-105 win over Washington, the Knicks (21-15) gave up an average of 100.

After the Knicks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers by 36 points on Friday, manager Tom Thibodeau praised Anunoby’s early impact.
“You can make up for a lot with your effort, and that’s his real job,” Thibodeau said, per Stephen Bondy of the New York Post.
“And every day he’s getting better and better and the players are starting to understand him, so it’s going to take a little bit of time.
