What’s different? While several of the best teams in the East have struggled through the first half of the season, the Vancouver Canucks and Winnipeg Jets have far exceeded expectations.
Vancouver started Friday attached with the Bruins on the NHL standings, while Winnipeg really look at in behind them and level with the Torrential slide (the Planes have two games close by). The Stars came next, so the Central Division is home to three of the league’s top five teams.
