R.I.P: A key player for the New York Knicks lost his mother due to….

After Shaquille O’Neal called the player “Randolph” prior to Thursday night’s game between the Knicks and Boston Celtics, the mother of New York Knicks star forward Julius Randle hit back at the legend of the Los Angeles Lakers and “NBA on TNT” analyst. O’Neal had referred to the player as “Randolph.”

The Knicks were again targeted by TNT analysts:

“They haven’t been pertinent since Patrick Ewing.” — Shaq and Charles Barkley referred to Julius Randle as “Randolph.”

“Anything his name is.”

— Randle’s mother took to Instagram to retaliate against the disrespect shown to her son on January 27, 2023.

Randle, a one-time All-Star, scored 37 points to lead the Knicks in the game against Boston. He made 13 of his 25 endeavors from the field, five 3-pointers and added nine bounce back and two helps.

It was a tremendous street win for the Knicks, who are presently 27-23 on the season and in the No. 7 spot in the Eastern Meeting.

With one of his best NBA seasons, Randle is a major reason for this. The Knicks star is averaging 24.8 focuses, 10.9 bounce back and 4.0 helps per game while shooting 46.1 percent from the field and 34.6 percent from past the bend.

A previous Laker, Randle could be in line for one more Top pick Game appearance this season.

It’s amazing for see O’Neal disregard a previous Laker, particularly since Randle has played so well this season.

This year’s Knicks appear poised to at least make the Eastern Conference play-in tournament, despite their lack of success over the past few decades.

The Knicks have won some good games this season thanks to Randle and Jalen Brunson, who also had a big game on Thursday, scoring 29 points. This week, they beat the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston.

This has been a colossal return season for Randle. In the 2020-21 season, he was named to the All-NBA team, but his numbers were all down last year.

He seems to have found his structure from that All-NBA crusade this season, and the Knicks are flourishing a direct result of it. Randle and the Knicks certainly hope to gain more respect from the rest of the NBA after defeating Boston, the team with the best record in the NBA at this point in the season.
