R.I.P.: A veteran linebacker in the  San Francisco 49ers just lost his father in a car accident.

Previous NFL Master Bowl tight end Russ Francis was one of two individuals killed in a plane accident in upstate New York on Sunday, his family declared via virtual entertainment. He was 70 years of age. Francis’ more youthful sibling Ed Francis posted a photograph of his sibling from a 49ers game, stating, “My more seasoned sibling Russ Francis was simply killed in a plane accident in Lake Peaceful, New York. Obviously, my family and I are totally leveled. Flying was my sibling’s deep rooted enthusiasm, and maybe a fitting way for him to go. Francis joined the 49ers in 1982 and played six seasons for San Francisco, winning a Super Bowl following the 1984 season and posting a profession high 44 gatherings in 1985. Francis was postponed by the 49ers during the 1987 season and he marked again with New Britain for the last two years of his vocation. Francis was killed alongside Richard McSpadden, senior VP of the Airplane Proprietors and Pilots Affiliation (AOPA). Lake Spot News announced the accident occurred at around 4:09 p.m. Sunday. AOPA said the plane the two men were in was a Cessna 177 Cardinal and that the plane “encountered a crisis after departure,” as per an assertion.
