Good News: 2024 Dallas Cowboys Mike McCarthy Have Signed With New Contract….

The prevailing consensus of the Dallas Cowboys varies according on who you speak to. The Dallas Cowboys are simply unfortunate in the postseason, according to their most ardent supporters. Critics, however, will maintain that America’s Team just falters throughout the season’s pivotal moments.

But it’s obvious to everybody that the Cowboys must hold onto the nucleus that has carried them to victory in the regular season over the last two years. The lack of encouraging news on that front is beginning to alarm Cowboys supporters who view these free agents as key players for the team’s 2024 campaign.

Mike Fisher of Cowboys Country wrote a column in which he described the unusual situation the Cowboys have found themselves in with regard to their free agents.

Three key members of the Cowboys’ regular-season success—Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Micah Parsons—are expected to sign contracts this offseason. Given that Dak is about to reach his contract’s last year, some may even view his circumstances as somewhat more dire.

Dak Prescott’s deal, though, could be a little too pricey for the Cowboys’ team’s number-crunchers. For Lamb and Parsons, the following may also be true:Ezoic

It’s common knowledge that Prescott is approaching the end of his contract, and while an extension is the “stated” goal there as well (a March 13 deadline for cap compliance looms, and Prescott currently has an unwieldy $59.4 million against the cap), there are alternatives that could prevent him from having a contract past 2024.

At the NFL Scouting Combine on Tuesday, COO Stephen Jones stated, “Our whole thing with Dak is him being a Cowboy.” “That’s all we can think about.”

It’s appropriate to mention that. However, according to the News, “the Cowboys are not scheduled to meet with the representatives of hybrid defensive end Micah Parsons and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb at the Combine, nor with (Prescott agent Todd) France.”

On the other hand, CeeDee Lamb was an unstoppable wide receiver, catching for 1749 yards and 12 touchdowns. Dak Prescott had a strong 2023 campaign with the Dallas Cowboys, passing for 4516 passing yards and 36 touchdowns while only throwing nine interceptions. Micah Parsons, an OLB, recorded 14.0 sacks, 36 solo tackles, and a forced fumble last season.
