Wolves and West Ham Turn Up the Heat for £10m Wing Wizard After Rangers Bid Rejected

Wolves and West Ham United have entered the race for Brighton winger Amario Cozier-Duberry, with the England Under-20 international attracting growing interest as the transfer window approaches its final weeks.

Wolves are exploring a potential move for the 21-year-old, who has emerged as an appealing option to strengthen their wide attacking ranks. Sources indicate the Midlands club have already begun assessing the terms of a possible deal.

West Ham are also monitoring Cozier-Duberry and have made enquiries about the winger. Their interest adds another Premier League contender to the list of clubs tracking the former Arsenal academy prospect, who joined Brighton on a free transfer in 2024.

Cozier-Duberry enjoyed an impressive loan spell at Bolton Wanderers last season, producing nine goals and 13 assists as the club secured promotion from League One through the play-offs.

He also picked up Championship experience with Blackburn Rovers during the 2024/25 campaign. His performances have subsequently attracted attention from clubs searching for a quick, creative and direct attacker capable of operating on either flank.

Despite featuring regularly for Brighton during pre-season under head coach Fabian Hürzeler, Cozier-Duberry has yet to establish himself in the club’s competitive first-team plans. With intense competition for places and Brighton preparing for another European campaign, a permanent departure could become a realistic option if their valuation is met.

Brighton have placed a £10million price tag on the winger after rejecting a £7million proposal from Rangers. The Seagulls’ refusal to lower their demands highlights their desire to command a substantial fee for a player who still has time left on his contract at the Amex Stadium.

Rangers are now considering alternative targets, although Cozier-Duberry remains high on their shortlist and an improved offer cannot be completely ruled out.

The Glasgow giants have been keen to add more quality and depth to their wide areas, but Brighton’s firm stance has forced them to reassess their options.

For Wolves, Cozier-Duberry represents an exciting young attacking option with a proven record of producing goals and assists at senior level. His pace, versatility and creativity could make him an attractive addition as the club continue reshaping their squad.

West Ham’s interest similarly reflects their desire to add more speed, creativity and attacking threat to their ranks.

The major question is whether either Premier League club is prepared to meet Brighton’s £10million valuation.

With Rangers now weighing up alternatives, the situation could give Wolves or West Ham an opportunity to move ahead in the race. Brighton’s asking price, however, could ultimately determine where the highly-rated winger ends up.
