Alan Shearer has sparked a major backlash among Nottingham Forest supporters after delivering a blunt three-word verdict on club talisman Morgan Gibbs-White during a live television appearance.
The former England striker, never one to hold back, finally lost patience when discussing the Forest midfielder’s recent form and overall contribution. When asked whether Gibbs-White remains one of the Premier League’s most influential players, Shearer cut in with a short, sharp assessment that has since gone viral.
“Not good enough,” Shearer said.
