Martin O’Neill Issues Urgent Warning as Celtic Transfer Window Stalls – Fans Furious

Celtic manager Martin O’Neill has issued an urgent warning over the club’s slow summer transfer activity, as frustration grows among the Parkhead faithful.

With the new Premiership season just weeks away, the Hoops have only secured one major signing in Camilo Duran. Several key deals have collapsed, including the re-signing of Kelechi Iheanacho, who has joined Bursaspor, and failed attempts to bring back Marcelo Saracchi.

O’Neill, who led Celtic to a domestic double last season, admitted progress is being made behind the scenes but stressed the need for speed.

“There has been progress but there’s no time frame,” the veteran boss said. “I don’t want to say something is absolute until it’s absolutely done.”

Fans have taken to social media to voice their anger, with many concerned that the lack of new faces could derail Celtic’s title defence.

The club has seen a significant number of departures, including loans ending and contract expirations, creating multiple gaps in the squad.

O’Neill remains confident that more signings will arrive, but the clock is ticking. Celtic supporters are demanding action before the season opener.

Will the board back their manager with the necessary investment, or will the slow start cost them dearly?
What do you think Celtic fans — is it time to panic or is there still time to turn things around?
