BBC NEWS:Zach LaVine’s contract with the Lakers is almost complete, and he’s about to sign his biggest contract .

The Los Angeles Lakers appear to be suitable for Chicago Bulls‍ guard Zach LaVine, but the team has shown “hesitation” in accepting a deal, according to Yahoo Sports’ Jake Fischer.
According to Fisher, the Lakers are hesitant to move forward with signing LaVine because he has four years left on his contract and about $180 million remaining.
“The market for Bulls All-Star guard Zach LaVine remained quiet, with interested teams still reluctant to commit to four seasons and about $180 million remaining on his contract.
” ,” Fisher wrote.
“LaVine is leaning toward returning Friday after a week out with inflammation in his right foot.
” If that happens, it might give us some momentum to sign LaVine.
” Sources said the struggling Lakers are considered the most sensible landing spot for the 28-year-old former All-Star, but Los Angeles is also reluctant to accept LaVine’s money.

LaVine is scheduled to return to the court Friday night after missing more than a month of basketball due to a foot injury.
In 18 games played this season, LaVine averaged 21 points and 4.
9 rebounds per game.
A two-time All-Star in his career, LaVine could fill the role the Lakers need if they are willing to accept a contract.
He would give the Lakers another option to take the pressure off LeBron James and Anthony Davis, and he has proven to be a solid defender in the past.
LaVine’s role will likely be different than in Chicago, where he’s one of the two primary scoring options alongside DeMar DeRozan, but if he’s willing to sit behind the Lakers star If not, it could mean he scores his first goal and makes a deep run in the postseason.
The Lakers struggled early this season after being swept in the Western Conference Finals a season ago.
Los Angeles currently sits in 10th place in the Western Conference with a 17-18 record and needs some inspiration heading into the second half of the season.
