Gary Neville has given his honest assessment of Coventry City’s latest move, praising the club’s ambition after they secured the permanent signing of midfielder Frank Onyeka from Brentford.

“It’s a tough division, but Lampard has them organised and they’ve got a good mix of youth and experience. Adding someone like Onyeka gives them balance in the middle of the park. “Coventry still need two or three more key additions to be competitive week in, week out. The Premier League is relentless, and they’ll need depth. But this deal for Onyeka is a positive step in the right direction.”
