Celtic manager O’Neill has delivered an honest assessment of new arrivals Camilo Duran and Kasper Høgh following their debuts, admitting that Duran is still being used out of his natural position as the coaching staff work on building chemistry in attack.
The manager revealed that Duran was deployed on the right wing due to limited training time with his strike partners, but hinted that fans will soon see the Colombian operating in a more dangerous central role where he can have greater influence.
Meanwhile, O’Neill challenged Kasper Høgh to be more clinical after the striker missed several opportunities during his first appearance. Despite the missed chances, the Celtic boss remains convinced the forward will prove to be a valuable addition to the squad.
