🇦🇷 Leeds United Eye £13m Boca Juniors Midfield Star Milton Delgado Ahead of Summer Transfer Window 👀

Leeds United have identified Boca Juniors midfielder Milton Delgado as a potential summer signing, with the club reportedly preparing for a busy transfer window ahead of next season.

After securing Premier League survival, Daniel Farke is expected to strengthen several areas of his squad during the summer. Adding more quality and depth in midfield is believed to be one of the club’s priorities, and Delgado has now emerged as a player on Leeds’ radar.

The 20-year-old Argentine has impressed for Boca Juniors this year, making 16 league appearances and attracting growing interest from clubs across Europe. According to reports from Argentina, Leeds are among the teams monitoring his progress closely.

Boca Juniors are understood to value Delgado at around £13 million, with the midfielder still having three years remaining on his current contract.

Although not yet widely known in English football, Delgado is quickly building a reputation in Argentina thanks to his mature performances in midfield. He is capable of operating in both defensive and advanced roles, offering tactical flexibility depending on the system being used.

His defensive contribution has been particularly eye-catching. Delgado has won 31 tackles in 16 league matches, placing him among the league’s strongest midfielders in that category. He has also impressed with his composure in possession, recording an 87.7 percent pass completion rate while averaging 51 successful passes per game.

On paper, Delgado appears to fit the profile of a smart long-term investment for Leeds — a young midfielder with strong defensive qualities, technical ability, and significant room for development.
