FURIOUS SUNDERLAND FANS SLAM JOCELIN TA BI DESPITE BRENTFORD CUP WIN

His contribution to the second goal should not be dismissed, but neither should the areas that require improvement.

For the winger, the priority must be to become more consistent, protect possession when necessary and make better decisions in dangerous situations.

For Le Bris, the challenge is to help his players learn from the late scare while continuing to reward those who demonstrate that they deserve opportunities.

One frustrating performance does not mean Ta Bi’s Sunderland career is over, but he will need to show greater consistency if he wants to earn the trust of supporters and secure a more prominent role in the team.

Sunderland have reasons to celebrate their cup victory, but the late fightback from Brentford serves as a reminder that there is still work to do.
