Leeds United and Brentford have made approaches for Real Betis’ Natan.
The Whites’ interest isn’t new, having looked at the centre-back last summer.

In June 2025, we relayed news of Daniel Farke’s side initiating contact with the Spanish club but nothing came of it.
Leeds United have returned for him in this window and are now joined by Brentford in the chase for the 25-year-old.
Leeds United face Brentford tussle
Estadio Deportivo reports the La Liga side rejected substantial offers of around €27m, from Leeds United and Lazio.
The Elland Road club haven’t forgotten about Natan and have rekindled their interest. The newspaper relays an update from journalist Fran Campos on the Whites and Keith Andrews’ side.
He claims these two clubs have made further advances by making direct contact with the defender’s agent and Real Betis. Leeds United and Brentford weren’t deterred by the Andalusian club’s demands.
Estadio points out Real Betis won’t sell him cheaply and are expecting to collect around €35m.
That allows them to make a profit, after paying €9m to make his loan stay permanent in 2025. It’s worth noting that last month, the Spanish media reported his price is €45m.
This may not matter now because both Leeds United and Brentford aren’t attractive to the Brazilian from a sporting point of view. He would prefer to wait for a club that can match his ambitions.
AS Roma would be an option for him, after qualifying for the Champions League. The Serie A side have entered the race, and this may be a concern for the Premier League duo.
The Italian club haven’t made advances so far and it’s unclear whether they can meet Real Betis’ demand.
