FIFA has dropped a bombshell on English football, confirming that a formal investigation has been launched into multiple England World Cup stars over alleged breaches of the organisation’s strict betting regulations.
In a statement released earlier today, world football’s governing body confirmed it had opened a disciplinary case after receiving evidence of “irregular betting activity” linked to several members of Thomas Tuchel’s England squad who played at the 2026 World Cup.
